Raw Milk

a.k.a. Real Milk :)

I tried to have a photo shoot with my (adorable) glass of milk this morning...

See?  Isn't it cute?  It has a little cow on it!

Uhm, yeah.  My photo shoot didn't last too long...
;D

Raw milk is so good for you, delicious, and filling.  When I started drinking it, I found myself going for
a glass of milk when I was hungry instead of grabbing a snack.  I also found myself generally not feeling
as hungry throughout the day.  When you get raw milk from a healthy, grass-fed cow, the nutritional
benefits are fantastic.
I'm not sure I want to drink "milk" from the store ever again.  It's proving to be hard to avoid pasteurized
dairy completely as it's in quite a lot of foods, but whenever I make things I use raw milk (and just
because it's hard, doesn't mean it's not possible :).
It actually wasn't until a month or so ago that I started drinking it.  Close friends of ours have a few dairy
cows and they sell us milk every week.  I hope to have a cow for my family one day!  Right now, being
in a neighborhood, I really don't think our neighbors would be very happy with us if we put a cow in our
yard... nope, they wouldn't like that much at all.  Although, they might learn to like it if we shared our milk
with them ;)

But I have said to you, 'You shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing
with milk and honey.' I am the LORD your God, who has separated you from the peoples.

We are counting down the days until our cow freshens!! It has been many long milk-less months for me because when she dried up I could not bear to drink store milk it was so nasty! Your glass is just perfect :)

I L-O-V-E raw milk. We have a local farmer that we buy our's from. We kinda stopped though because yours truly would drink half to an almost whole gallon in one sitting! I am not joking!
Not to mention it isn't very cheap. LOL!

Blessings,
Kristiana
