On Monday,
Jean Marie and I had a great day full of adventures!
First, we went to the beach with our friend Becca. We only had about 15 minutes with Becca because
she had to meet a friend, but it was very nice to have those few minutes with her :)
The waves were kind of small and the water was freezing, but we boogie boarded and floated anyway.
Then we sat on the sand in the shallow water and dripped mud on our legs while the water flowed in and out.
When we had our fill of the beach and were ready to eat, we decided to drive up the road a ways to
Snack Jack's for a seafood lunch.
This is where we ran into a problem.
After spending quite a bit of time there, just enjoying our lunch on the beach,
we went to pay and there it was - a sign, which read...
"CASH ONLY - ATM Available"
Our hearts sunk slightly. We only had cash and a credit card - not a debit card, and not enough cash.
We couldn't pay with our cash, and we couldn't get money from the ATM. Oh how I wish I had brought
my wallet. I would've had my wallet if I knew we were going to lunch, but that was kind of a spur of the
moment decision. [You see, I don't like to take much of anything to the beach - too many opportunities
for theft, which is why I don't have pictures of any of this.]
So what do you do when you can't do anything?
Call your Momma.
And I did just that.
So my Mom came and saved the day (thank you, Mom!) and we drove off to meet Gabe and Molly at
Publix for some Klondikes. There, Molly had her first Klondike bar, we dripped ice cream all over our hands,
and then Jean and I drove home.
(In case you hadn't noticed, we did lots of driving,
thus we did lots of listening to country music :)
Once home, we got cleaned up and pulled ourselves together for dinner at Aunt Catfish's with
some of my family.
Since I took my camera to dinner, now I can let photos tell the story. I think they do a better job... ;)
The sun was setting when we got to the restaurant.
Red hair + sunset lighting = ♥

The table buzzers at Aunt Catfish's are lobster-shaped... how cute is that?
Something in the water freaked her out... but it was just a bunch of mullets, no worries! :)
Uncle John... Me & Jean ;)
This little girl was so precious. She had those squeaker shoes that squeak with every step... so cute.
This is Joey, the reject onion. Poor Joey.
I wish I could've done justice to the moon. It was beautiful.
*mmmm jasmine*
My sweet friend and I!
Thank you Jean, for being a Case for a day with me. It was quite an adventure!
Much love!
