About Emily...

I am first and foremost a servant of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  On August 6th, 2011, my best friend and the love of my life asked me to marry him... and I (of course) said "Yes!"  So on November 19th, 2011 I became his wife and I am SO thankful to God for giving me Ben - he is all I could've ever  prayed for.  God is so good!  A post on our story is here...
I'm 19, I love hippos, I love photography, I love life.  In addition to being Ben's wife, I'm also a daughter to two wonderful parents, and a sister to an awesome older brother. My brother married the woman of his dreams in March 2011, so I am also blessed with an incredible sister-in-law! {wedding posts} I'm also thrilled to soon be an Auntie to a (gorgeous, I'm sure) baby boy, expected some time March 2012!  My life's purpose is to glorify God in the way I live my life - in everything.

I'm learning to be the best helpmeet to Ben that I can possibly be.  Life is good and God is great.  Mistakes are made, forgiveness is given, lessons are learned, memories are created and cherished, and love overflows.

So what's in the name?  Well, my imagination.  ;)
Though I live in town, I have a desire to live somewhere quaint and away... Like an old country cottage, or something of the like.  So here, you find me living life, trusting the Lord, and always looking forward to what His will is!
